Matt Thiel Executive Vice President mthiel@rochemintl.com Matt has been a member of the ROCHEM team since March 2003. Prior to joining Rochem, he spent nearly ten years with the Perrigo Company in purchasing which allowed him the opportunity to travel in Asia. Matt has an extensive background in pharmaceuticals, as well as the nutritional industry. His background also afforded him the chance to do a wide range of business throughout Asia with a very strong focus in China. Matt was part of a team, which set up a Joint Venture on an API facility in China. His extensive travels in China during previous and current roles, provides a solid foundation of knowledge and support for ROCHEM’s business and growth strategy. Matt knows the challenges with sourcing chemicals from Asia and is dedicated to finding a way to provide value to customers. |

Charles Dods

He spent his early career with Boots Pharmaceuticals and subsequently worked in various senior management positions with BASF's Pharmaceutical Ingredients business both in the US and Germany. Marco D'urso

mdurso@rochemintl.com Marco joined the ROCHEM team in April, 2008. He has been working in the pharmaceutical industry for over 13 years. His early career was spent at Bayer Corporation where he led a team of scientists in various areas of QA/QC. Most recently, Marco spent 6 years with Chemwerth Inc. U.S.A. where he was the Sr. V.P. of Global Regulatory Affairs and Compliance. While at Chemwerth, he traveled extensively to China working with many of China’s leading pharmaceutical companies. Marco is committed to insuring that all of ROCHEM’s suppliers maintain the highest level of compliance and continue to provide products of the highest quality. Marco is recognized as an industry leader and one of the global experts in his field for filing regulatory submissions in both North America and Europe. Marco’s expertise will allow Rochem’s customers to achieve the fastest approval times possible and avoid regulatory obstacles. |

Steve Rivoir Steve has over 25 Years experience selling and marketing ingredients in the Nutrition, Food and Functional Food markets. He has represented and/or worked for companies such as Takeda Chemical, BASF, and EM Industries (the U.S. arm of Merck KgaA), Croda Chemicals and Allied Biotech. The bulk of his career included 16 years with BASF’s Human Nutrition Group as Sales Representative, Product Manager and National Sales Manager. Steve has proudly been a member of DCAT’s Board of Directors. |

Steven Farrell On May 12th 2008, Mr. Steven Farrell joined ROCHEM as National Sales Director, Pharmaceuticals. Steve has over twenty years of sales experience in the manufacturing and pharmaceutical industry. His last two years he has been working for Chemwerth selling Rx APIs to the generic pharmaceutical industry. Steve is excited and looking forward to using Rochem's strong supply chain in China to focus on our Generic Pharmaceutical market API development. |

Richard Peterson Rick is the newest member of the ROCHEM sales team having joined ROCHEM Intl. October 16, 2008. He brings nearly 25 years of experience in the food and nutritional industry. Rick established and successfully managed the US subsidiaries of two International manufacturers of Vitamins and other fine chemicals, including BASF. He has also worked with distributors and has consulted with several companies as they set up their US businesses. This enabled him to move extensively throughout the industry while learning the importance of developing a reliable and trusting relationship between customer and supplier both in terms of product and service. |

Rochem International Inc. has its primary China operation in Qingdao, which is one of the largest ports in China. This location plays an important role in Rochem's ability to consolidated materials; handle logistics in an expeditious fashion as well as keeping our fingers on the pulse of economic changes. Pauline is the General Manager of Rochem Qingdao. She joined the company after working for Chemwerth in Shanghai where she was responsible for all regulatory and compliance issues. Prior to this she spent six years with Apotex Corporation in Canada. Pauline’s wide regulatory, compliance, and quality background will help to ensure that all Rochem suppliers remain in full compliance with all regulations for pharmaceutical, nutritional and food products in North America and Europe. Tricia Yin Tricia graduated from Harbin University and has been with Rochem since the Qingdao office was initially formed. Tricia has ten years of experience in the accounting field and also assists in managing the day to day operations of our Qingdao office. Wei Dongming Wei joined Rochem after having earned his college degree from Wuhan University and spending nearly a decade with Shandong Xinhua Pharmaceutical. Dongming’s exposure to writing and filing DMFs, along with being involved with US FDA inspections, have prepared him to be a key part of Rochem’s success in preparing and assisting manufacturers to meet US FDA requirements. Steven Gao Steven graduated from the Qingdao Foreign Trade Institute and has been with Rochem since the Qingdao office was initially formed. Steven has gained tremendous experience in the pharmaceutical and nutritional/food categories while with Rochem and will continue to focus most of his efforts in the pharmaceutical area. Yong Lei joined our Qingdao office after having spent six years in New Zeeland studying at the university. Yong Lei hails from Yantai originally and has been exposed to international business and exports through family members who are successful in international business. Yong Lei has already contributed well to Rochem in his relatively short tenure and we expect a long history of great accomplishments from him. Yong Lei will focus on the sweetener and nutritional categories with Rochem. Mary Zhu Mary recently joined our Qingdao team as an Administrative Assistant. She is a graduate of Shandong University of Science and Technology having received her Bachelor degree in English. Most recently Mary worked for a foreign trade group in Qingdao prior to joining Rochem. As one of the newest members, we expect Mary’s energetic personality to be a positive influence and her contribution to our team will grow with her experience. |
