March This year, Mr. Arnold Schwarzenegger, former Governor of California, movie star and body builder addressed the gathering of over 1700 industry professionals at the annual black tie dinner. During the DCAT week, Rochem met with nearly 50 leading companies in the pharmaceutical industry who recognize the special value Rochem holds in screening and auditing manufacturers and their facilities in China with our strong regulatory and compliance team. Rochem also invited some key manufacturing partners from China who travelled to the USA to join this important event. Rochem continues to show its commitment to the industry and organizations such as DCAT by financially supporting this event and being an active participant in DCAT week for nearly two decades.

2010:
June Rochem International Inc. represented manufacturer, Tianjin Zhongan Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., has passed their first ever U.S. FDA inspection in June, 2010 with zero 483 observations cited by FDA. Rochem has had a long relationship with Tianjin Zhongan supplying their products to various industries globally for over ten years. Rochem has worked closely with Tianjin Zhongan over the years, through extensive on-site training and audit support, to ensure that their operations are fully GMP/FDA compliant. Tianjin Zhongan was established in 1988 and currently supplies various multinational companies in both the pharmaceutical and beverage industries. Tianjin Zhongan manufactures Caffeine, Theophylline, Metronidazole, Metronidazole Benzoate, Secnidazole and Nifedipine ingredients. Rochem is Tianjin Zhongan’s United States Site Agent and supplier of various grades of Caffeine as well as Metronidazole, both of which have DMF/COS, to global regulated markets. The annual capacity of Caffeine is 2500 Tons and 400 Tons for Metronidazole. March Anhui Wanbei Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. Passes Their First U.S. FDA Inspection Rochem International Inc. represented manufacturer, Anhui Wanbei Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., has passed their first ever U.S. FDA inspection in March, 2010. They have the distinction of being the first FDA approved facility in Anhui Province, China. Rochem’s partnership with Wanbei began in October 2008 and since then Rochem has worked closely with Wanbei, though extensive on-site training and audit support, to raise their GMP compliance level ensuring their operations are fully GMP/FDA compliant. Wanbei manufactures various products using classical fermentation and semi-synthetic technologies. Rochem is Wanbei’s site agent and is the exclusive supplier of various grades of Lincomycin HCl, Clindamycin Phosphate and Clindamycin HCl manufactured by Wanbei to global regulated markets. March Rochem had another successful DCAT week which was held from March 15-19th at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City. Rochem's team held 35 meetings in three days with customers and partners from all over the world. This year, Rochem's DCAT week was joined by manufacturers from China including North China Pharmaceutical Corp (NCPC), Zhejiang Charioteer Pharmaceutical CO., Tianjin Weijie Pharmaceutical Co., and Anhui Menova Pharmaceutical Co. Rochem International was also a sponsor this year for guest speaker, Mr. James Cameron, Director of Titanic and Avatar, at the 84th Annual Dinner held on March 18th. 2009: June 18

China Foreign Trade Magazine is an influential, long established and widely circulated Chinese periodical. Rochem International once again received global recognition for quality service and outstanding leadership in the pharmaceutical industry.
Rochem participated in the annual DCAT Week at the Waldorf Astoria in NYC. This week-long event comprised of many meetings with customers from the pharmaceutical industry. Rochem's guests throughout the convention included the President and CEO of the second largest xylitol manufacturer in the world, and the President of Charioteer Pharmaceuticls Co. Ltd.

The day before CPHI China, Rochem is hosting an “Appreciation Dinner” in Shanghai to thank all the API, Nutritional/Food Ingredient and Sweetener manufacturers and suppliers in China who have been working very closely with Rochem and supporting Rochem’s growth for many years. There will be over 100 guests including CEOs, General Managers, Vice Presidents and Sales Managers from different companies in China as well as some customers from both North America and Europe.
